With a background of over 20 years in marketing, product promotion
and systems development, Richard has a proven record of formulating
strategic marketing plans and building systems to deliver them.
Richard's area of focus is NewMedia Marketing, the process of integrating
systems that extend from contact with the customer to the back office
knowledgebase that supports, enhances, and drives marketing communications
and field sales operations.
Richard has conceived and executed many healthcare marketing programs
utilizing a full mix of media communication along with telephony-based
systems, Sales Force Automation, and Web Promotion. As a pioneer
in delivering and managing Web-based solutions, Richard's "out-of-the-box"
thinking on how to apply technology to traditional marketing promotion
can be a real asset to a small firm's future marketing plans. His
proven success in bringing consumer services to market through call
center operations and eCRM solutions, combine with his in-depth
marketing knowledge, to provide the foundation for effective tactical
campaigns.
Merging his experience as an entrepreneur and marketing strategist
with his leading-edge vision of technology's role, Richard brings
to Stackpole & Associates a unique blend of marketing, systems
integration, e-commerce, and project management.
During his tenure as the Director of Product Development for CareerCity,
Inc., Richard quickly set in motion a plan for synthesizing the
career support sector with recruiting technology. He was instrumental
in driving the site's revenues and profitability.
For TravCorps/ Cross-Country Healthcare, a national staffing leader
for traveling healthcare professionals, Richard served as Marketing
Director, handling Marketing and Media communication and computer
and telephone integration, launching the industry's first online
recruiting and placement website.
As a Marketing Manager for NewMedico national rehabilitation company,
Richard implemented a million dollar promotional effort targeted
to specialty caregivers and integrated with a voice network and
lead management system which supported 250 field sales representatives.
Richard formulated the marketing plans and budget for the launch
of two medical diagnostic firms. Other consulting assignments have
involved market research, determination of brand loyalty, new retail
product launches, catalog and print material development, packaging
design, and client relations.
Along with participating in the start-up and growth of several
service companies Richard has had ownership in: an advertising agency,
a specialty travel service and a career preparation service. In
all, his consulting experience encompasses a broad range of clients
at various stages of their development.
Richard received his MPA from Suffolk University, and his BS in
Accounting and Economics from Stonehill College. He regularly attends
industry conferences and is a former member of the Direct Marketing
Association, presently an active participant in the Interact New
Media Association of the Mass Software Council and has been a visiting
instructor at Bentley College.
