With a diverse background in public health, law and business, Elizabeth
brings a unique set of skills and experience to Stackpole &
Associates' clients.
Beginning her professional career in 1980, Elizabeth graduated
from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts and
went into private law practice specializing in immigration law.
During the nursing shortage of the 1980's, many of her medical clients
asked for her assistance in recruiting medical personnel who were
in great demand. Elizabeth set up an international recruitment company
and traveled extensively outside the United States, looking for
talented medical personnel to fill vacant positions stateside. In
addition to her legal expertise, Elizabeth gained an in-depth knowledge
of issues relating to the recruitment and retention of medical personnel
as well as a solid understanding of the operations of healthcare
systems outside the US.
Subsequently, Elizabeth went back to school to pursue her interest
in public health and in September 2000, graduated from the Boston
University School of Public Health with a Master's degree in Public
Health with a focus on international health. She established a Massachusetts
non-profit organization, SHARED, which focuses on improving access
to essential medicines through private-public partnerships. This
organization is working successfully with other non-profit organizations,
for-profit companies and ministries of health to deliver essential
medicines to the world's poorest people. Her education and experience
in the realm of public health brings a fresh perspective to our
clients.
In addition to her education and experience, Elizabeth is a talented
writer whose articles have been published in several professional
magazines such as "Provider" as well as humorous pieces
for travel magazines. Her healthcare articles appear on this website
in the "Resources" section.
As a licensed real estate broker with related legal experience,
Elizabeth is a valuable resource to our clients who are interested
in developing healthcare facilities such as independent living or
assisted living centers. She works in conjunction with our marketing
research and feasibility team to help clients launch successful

Combining public health, law, and business with strong analytical
and writing talents, Elizabeth brings a unique point of view to
